    You're reading a bit much into that statement. When is "later"? Notice the equivocation:IF you're around.

    It's not a promise, more a general statement of hoping to talk to you later. Live your life - if he's on, then fine - if he isn't - fine also. When he starts giving times then there will be something in it...

    Hmmmm, I see what you mean, but combined with the general avoidance of any mention of going out for a drink, it just feels like one more reason to back away from this guy.
