I've never done that in a race - I wonder what its like...
Im taking it but not sure I will use it...for me its 4-5 hours remember although I will only wear it in one ear even if I do, otherwise I won't be able to hear my supporters! :rotfl:

i run with music in one ear... the ear outward to the road is free to hear cars.... lack of pavements where i live!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

I dont have an ipod so my phone battery wouldnt last anyway but I like to be without in races because its one less thing to carry and that mental thing of being 'hands empty' is for races only with me...
I also like to talk to people as I go round and pick targets ahead - not sure I could do that with music on...hmmm interesting...0 -
There's no real safety risk though - because the roads are closed for 7 hours
