my friends got back from a holiday to South America about a week ago. Thankfully they're all ok but you never know.. I know there's a bit of scaremongering going on (be it accidental or not) but it's not the most reassuring feeling about at the moment, is it? :( and it kinda makes me not want to see them for a bit longer.. bad friend :(

SFH - I would be paranoid as well. When it comes to my DS we are over protective when he gets a temperature. He used to get those febrile convulsions when he got a temperature and we are never sure he has grown out of them. Hopefully it will not be as bad as they are making out on the news. Its probably better that they scaremonger to make peope a bit more careful about going out and possibly spreading it.

What made me laugh this morning was they were going if you have flu symptoms, don't go to the doctor ring NHS direct, but they did not tell you what the symptoms might be. A checklist would have been helpful.

FE - love that thread and love your reply!
    Keep thinking positively
