Morning all...just about to start on the downstairs of the house!! Upstiars was done yesterday....mum is taking the kids for the morning so no distractions!! Computer is being turned off now otherwise I'll just comp!! hehe!

Off to church soon and then doing a slow roasted pork shoulder for dinner tonight. Caught up with a major number of comps last night so now have a bit of 29th and then 30th to start on. I hope to get some wins

Am looking forward to seeing London Marathon (good luck to all the runners) and Grand Prix also today. I wish this household would be as peaceful as it is at this moment all day - everyone is still in bed! Need to get the window cleaners in here :rotfl:

Good morning, how is everyone today?

Another night of hardly any sleep thanks to OH. His coughing seemed to calm down by about 3am but at 4am his headache was so bad I nearly phoned the emergency doctor. He relaxed and settled down by about 5am though so I got some sleep then. I feel bad for being annoyed with him as he's being like a child, but he's obviously poorly. I really hope he gets better soon. I would normally wake him up around 10am if he's not awake already at the weekend but I think I'll leave him today.

Hope the garage phones today to say they've got that car in for me to look at - it would mean we could look at it in with plenty of time rather than having to rush around on an evening after work. And if they phone I hope OH is well enough to go see it!

Hope you're all making the most of the sunshine today... and if you're having a lazy day send all your energy to those marathon runners - they'll need it!

I think OH has finally sorted the computer so I can get the holiday photos on here and start going through them. My sister has done hers apparently but I haven't seen them yet - can't wait!

Oh god.....gluttony is effing amazing....36 jaffa cakes and a can of red bull down the hatch...now demolishing a family bag of Doritos.

I have to admit when I heard about it yesterday I was checking the symptoms with what OH has got. After all he picked it up on the plane from Florida.

Is that gel any good then? I carry baby wipes around with me.

Haha, I've got a stomach of steel; I've been wanting to throw up since yesterday but it's not happening. Gonna go for a baked potato later and have a curry in the fridge too for later. I'm back in the pub at 4:15 so need to be ok!!
