ah thats a shame, you,ll be like me third time lucky, i ad 6 minors the 1st time and couldnt reverse park, 4 minors the second and took the wrong position at a roundabout:rotfl: and 9 minors the 3rd and 3 of a kind ( gear faults for coasting ) so should have failed but i passed........now my wee car sits there doing nothing cause i really really hate driving:rolleyes:

Thanks, hopefully it will be third time lucky, even my instructor was shocked that I didn't pass. It annoying cos I know I can drive, I just cant reverse round corners  I'm also gutted that the next test available is 8th june thats ages away.

Oh well I've just cheered myself up by winning a mars ruby ball - thanks cg1982.

Good afternoon everyone! Thought I might just sneak in with a Good Morning, but sadly not! Been busy this morning, and it's a lovely sunny one too, 20 degrees already :j

Cathy, I hope your day improves hun. If you need to offload you know where I am. Anyone else having a tough time (((hugs))). Sorry, only read back two pages.

I have a real good news/bad news situation going on with LO. We saw her on Sunday and she made some disclosures, nothing new, but of course now in earshot of a social worker. The social worker took her off for a little walk and told us discreetly afterwards that the information was 'significant' and she would be reporting it. We no longer can afford legal help so are trying to find out what we can do and where it may lead, but clearly the leopard has not changed it's spots and LO is brave enough to still have her voice. It was tough letting her go again though, knowing I will be waiting two weeks before I can snatch a few hours again - it is truly heartbreaking and I can understand Kate McCann saying in the papers today she wishes she were in a coma sometimes. But I am still here today, and will never give up on her.

I have been waiting for an ebay purchase for nearly a week, the post seems so slow at the moment. Maybe there are lots of wins on the way for us all, just held up somewhere by naughty posties!

Am a couple of days ahead with comping so really pleased with myself - thanks to a combination of poor sleeping and rainy Bank Holiday. Any news of the itunes winners lists for last week yet?
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!

When I'm looking at personal statements for UCAS applications I want to know the reasons for going back into education now, what they've been up to since last lot of education and what they're gonna do with the qualification afterwards. Hope that helps.

    very helpful, thanks :D

Ah plantpot, sorry you didn't pass - bring on 8th June - third time lucky!

Hey Flick - why don't you write down the 3 most important things you need to do this afternoon and then do those. The other things can wait until tomorrow.
Life is all about the journey.
