Hmmmm, OH doesn't seem impressed with the tickets (too cute and cuddly for him perhaps?!). Will see if my sister wants to come with me!

Morning all, won't be online much today going to see DH's Grandma for the day & need to do a bit of shopping.

DH not been paid yet (again!) & I need a present for my friend but stuck for ideas that are nice but cheap (ish), it would have been her daughters 5th birthday on 1st May sadly she died when she was 8 month old. I always get her something for birthday/xmas etc but totally stuck & can't really order online now in case it doesn't get here in time - ideas people????

lol well I just met my postie for the first time..
nothing exciting, he had post for my name for Flat 1 when I'm not Flat 1... but he put 2 and 2 together, remembered which flat he usually delivers post in that name to, so introduced himself. Nice to know he knows who I am incase it happens again

argh! SO need to get moving, I still haven't packed... :rolleyes:
this weekend's gonna be so boring - I've gotten used to my independance and Southampton.. Poole has nothing going on.. ho hum!

Hi, PMS, thats a lovely idea, so sad, how about a book of poems.
Just starting the 30th now, its never ending, washing out, going to do a bit of ironing then some comps, etc.
Still no sign of postman, last week we got saturdays post on Monday and Monday and Tuesday on Tuesdays.

Not up to much here for the weekend, just me avoiding all the sport OH's gonna be watching, I don't mind really, gives me more comping time but he doesn't have to know that His sis is doing the marathon tomorrow so we'll have to keep an eye out for her on it

I do something similar for my neighbour PMS, her Son died suddenly at age 18 and every year on the anniversary I take her some flowers, just to show I haven't forgotten. I was amazed when she said that it was 15 years this year, can't believe it has been so long.

Had a giant mug turn up this morning from the freebie thread, great for soup but not to be filled with tea and drunk just before bed, I would be up and down all night. My scumbag millionaire T Shirt turned up too, a different one to the pic in the comp but better IMO, so OH is happy.

Off to get lunch ready now, then the afternoon is my own as hubby is off to work.
