Just got out of my meeting with my boss. Over an hour late going in but he still gave me an hour and a half of his time. I explained I was struggling with the workload, mostly because things were being passed back to me not done, and specifically about that problem with that project the other day. He has said he'll make that one go away which is a good thing - I haven't got to do it, the person who should have done it will have to do it. And he's going to help with priorities too so I know what I should do first etc. He's also approved a training course for me - it's six lots of two day residentials in London and will be really useful for me and work.

So I feel a bit better. A bit less overlooked and like I'm allowed to ask when I'm not sure whether something is my job rather than suffering. It remains to be seen if things change, but I guess I can't expect too much. I will keep you posted of course (if you want me to or not!).

Thank you everyone for my birthday greetings. I have had a fab day so far and have been spoilt rotton.

DH bought me a Radley Bag and a Tinkerbell bag
DD's bought me flowers, Tinkerbell purse, Drop Dead Fred DVD, Annie Lennox CD & a birthday cake.
Best friend bought me the following Tinkerbell items : t-shirt, book-mark, window box & tinks to put in my crocs and some chocs.

My mum & dad coming later with more pressies :j
