:o I know we were talking about this yesterday but this is a runners up prize (why give a runners up prize for something that you wouldn't have unless you win the comp:rolleyes:) I'm offering this to Inn regs before anyone else incase it's of use to anyone.

I just had a WEM from CVG saying:

I'm pleased to inform you that you've won a runner-up prize in CVG's Banjo-Kazooie competition; a code to download Nuts & Bolt's downloadable content on Xbox Live.

I don't have an xbox and unless I win one wont be getting one as we have all the others and other than my Wii and DS they're just gathering dust most of the time:rolleyes: So if this is any good to you let me know and I'll give you the code.

I'll post it up in iwiwiw later as I don't want loads of pm's from 0posters after it:o

Hmm maybe its a cheeky little way of them getting you to buy their products so you can use the code?
June wins... 3x Good Food Cookbooks, Peroni Laptop Bag..:j

  • Gemma and Cathy, not ignoring you but did yet another reboot as it just could not hold a connection long enough to reply

I'm not AOL Gemma, we use Virgin which as it's cable is normally great and the prime reason we have stuck with them as it is SOOOO reliable compared to providers we had before. Must be a problem either environmentally within the house, or with my lappy. Waiting til OH comes home tonight. He says he is scared in case I hit him with a flying laptop :o

I have a splitting headache with getting het up about this all day. Need to focus on the Steak and Stilton pie I am making as that will cheer me up, I love my food.

Cathy, give me something to think about, what sort of dresses are you considering trying?

Munchkim, we have an Xbox I won last month but haven't used it much as no money for games at the minute. I have no idea what it is you have won so can't say if I can use it or not!!!! OH and the kids are in charge of that kind of thing, the kitchen is mine and that's the way I like it :rotfl:

    HELP!
we're trying to think of a leaving present for the OH and can't think of ANYTHING!
He's got every games console going bar a PS3 but that's near £300 and between 6/7 of us? A tad of a stretch.. I've still got £200 of my BS2 vouchers left, but was going to get him that for Xmas with them as I really don't think our budget will stretch that far
and I can't think of anything :( Bad girlfriend :(

 Gemma (and everyone else), has your OH got the new Nintendo DSi? I read in the MSE newsletter today that they're on offer at £127 (+ £4.95 delivery) until Monday on asda.com:

    http://direct.asda.com/Nintendo-DSi-White-Games-Console/003765164,default,pd.html

Might be OK between 6 or 7 of you...? (What's your budget?)

Well the Honda dealer just phoned. The car we were going to view tonight that they went to collect from another dealer for us is no good. The salesman just phoned to say they got it up on the ramp and there is no way it would pass a Honda Approved test thing. How disappointing. But pleased they told us anyway! So now we've got to start looking again, and I'm without a car for a little bit longer yet! Not that we'd actually bought that one but it was going to be perfect and you know what I mean! I'd even started to get excited about it after being so miserable and not caring. Hmph!

I've got an xbox Munchkim but don't have it connected to the internet so couldn't use the prize, but thanks for the offer it's really kind.
Life is all about the journey.

I'm a bit of both, I enjoy my gadgets and consoles but my love is my kitchen, OH's only allowed to make hot drinks and wash up (no room for a dish washer and very luckily I'm allergic to all the washing up liquids I've tried :D) and as soon as he's finished i'm out there putting everything how I want it again:o
