Advice Re Partner's debts

I have been living with my partner for 6 years and we have a child between us age 4 years. We have seperate accounts but he admitted he had been paying mortgage payments on his ex-wife's property which cannot afford now and house going through possible reposession (in turn which will affect his credit rating for 6 years) and took out loans. Does anyone know how that would affect me if anbody came to the property to retrieve money from him.
Also we are in a desperate situ with gas back boiler which needs replacing (giving off fumes - switched off and no hot water/heating) and as he is up to his eyes in debt cannot raise £2,000 to replace to combi boiler. Telephoned Warmfront for advice who state criteria for grant are earnings under £15,000 my earnings are under that but will not do it on my name alone as living with partner who has put me in this situ through no fault of my own. We have two children living with us 4 and 17 years. Any advice would be welcome.

Hugs I know how you feel. I have a very poor credit rating because my home is blacklisted thanks to other halfs debts. We all go without and it causes arguments. try to look at all them money owed and get help. If you love your partner then you can work it out together.Barclaycard 3800
