i got mine today , it has five pound credit on it , i sent a text to the number to check your balance and it cost me 6p so now its 4.94

I get the same ..... I think they have probably hit their quota but are still happy to take peoples details.

This is what I was told when I called them; -
You have 3 months in which to activate the card, if you do not activate within 3 months the card will be void, but you can phone them within the next 3 months and they will reactivate the card with the £5 credit still on. If you do nothing for the whole 6 months then the card will be totally void.
Once activated you need to make a chargeable call every 3 months for the card to stay open.

I got the already registered message too, using 2 different email address - was quite panicked that I thought someone may have used my details, but seems like quite a few people got the same message.
