First time buyer, no debt, good pay

Hi All,

I'm trying to sort out my first time mortgage but could do with a bit of help!

I'm 24, Earning 28k with good career prospects. I've been very careful with money so far so have no debt of any form, have a single credit card which I very rarely use, and when I do use pay off in full at the end of the month. Currently renting on my own.
I also hold around a £15-6k deposit / savings

Due to the area where I live the cheapest housing I can find currently is around £175-200k for a property.

Can anyone suggest where I might find a lender who would be willing to lend around £160k with my current earnings as above.

Any suggestions would be welcome

You are going to need a bigger deposit for starters, plus money for legal fees etc. And 160K is over 5 times your salary, which I doubt anyone would lend you unfortunately.

No lender is going to lend you that much, in addition you don't have enough savings.
