If you do a job well, people won't be sure you've done anything at all
Must claim back bank charges!!!:rolleyes:0 -
I ran up alot of debt and had to contact someone who put me in touch with a solicitor who put me on a trust deed which lasted for 3 years. I paid £200 a month for the 3 years which has just finished January past. He said he would send me a certificate to send to equifax but it can take up to three month to sort that out. What will happen then, will this show up on my credit record and stop me from getting a loan for a car.0

is that common practise...
whats the best way to go about it?
thanks
no it isn't; otherwise everyone would do it!
you need to write and make it a condition of settlement, heading the letter "without prejudice". if you are rebuffed, write to someone a bit higher. if the other side is in any way responsible, e.g. bank charges which send you into the red, then it is worth saying that the adverse data is because of them for such and such a reason!
no harm in threatening at some point if nec to report them to the IC0 -
the only two defaults we have is one for tmobile-mine...
one for vodafone--oh..
who would i write to the debt collection agency or the company?

starting point is the d.c. but try the company as well (worst case scenario they can only say no)0
