Warning! Tesco & Mr Kipling Cakes

Be carefull right now of Tesco deals which is on Kipling cakes. Its not illegal more for the gullable but, they will state the 2 for £2 deal and write on selected Kipling cakes. Thing is there badged between all the cakes, and there is like pence difference. basicly there something like £1.36 £1.39 £1.32 brackets. I picked up Angel slices and another slices thinking 2 for £2 and got rattled as they were pence difference at the till. I didnt make a thorough check as they were both slices. either cheap tricks on tescos part or bad marketing/management by the instore operatives.

    Thanks for the info!

It's more of a 'heads up' than a warning though as the customer gains if Tesco overcharge you. As long as you don't point it out at the till of course.

Pay up then check your receipt, then go to the CS desk to say you've been overcharged because you saw the yellow signs saying 2 for £2.

If the CS agrees the signs are ambiguous and so you have been overcharged, then they will give you DOUBLE the difference - DTD - back (ahem...CS staff very often need prompting for DTD and 'reminding' about the contract stated on the blue & white 'our promise' board behind them).

If you've not done this before it's an amusing test of your store's integrity if the CS staff 'forget' about DTD...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
