Hello everyone, hope all is going weel with your wedding plans!
Me and my OH have just booked our venue for next august (soooo exciting!:j) and are now faced with the task of thinking about what else we need! Luckly the wonderful hotel we have booked is providing a lot of the stuff as we booked a full package for ceremony, weding breakfast and evening do. We have some ideas of what we need..
Dresses - Landy or maybe a discount weding dress i've seen
Suits - Great place i've found which hires suits quite cheap and is local..
Cake - Going to do ourselves by buying the 'posh' cupcakes from ASDA and adding a nice cake (decorated by me) from M&S
Photographer - Still trying to find a cheap one!
Invites - making myself, bought all the stuff to do them for £20 from Hobbetcraft
Favours - EBAY!!! yey!
DJ - again trying to find a cheap decent one... if anybody knows of a decent DJ in Yorkshire they can recomment I would love to know the detail!
And now i'm stuck..i'm sure there is something missing, but don't know what it is! Does anyone think i've missed something really obvious?
Thanks in advance

Congrats Becky! We are not having a DJ but I have got an 8 piece party band in Yorkshire for a good price if you would like details.Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:0 -
I'd check out local jewellers for the rings - they are often cheaper than the big high street names and you normally get better quality diamonds. The big ones have loads of lights to make the diamonds look more white than they are

Good luck.0 -
you say about the posh cupcakes from asda, m&s have started doing a 4 pack of gorgeous looking cupcakes for £2.50 so they could be an option too, they certainly shall be for me!0

OMG! They will work out cheaper thank the 3 tiers, even if I bought a tier to cut. Just would have to decorate them .......
[Goes off to ponder .......]0 -
I think we worked out we could do a three tier cupcake thingy for less than £20! which beats the £200 plus we've been quoted from proffesionals! I think i might get some of that edible glitter and maybe some sugarcraft flowers to decorate the cupcakes with, but its saving lots of money! Now a married lady and loving it!
