How Much??? Sarnie Shop

Options
Having just been into my local sarnie shop I was shocked to see just how much she had raised her prices by.

So I was curious to find out how much others pay for the same thing in their local sarnie shop.

I went in to get DH a BEST to find that it was £2.50 for a regular and £3.80 for a large:eek:

DH says he pays £1.70 near work and that its better than anywhere else.

What about you? and yes before you ask im that bored, LO is having a nap.

Expensive around here, but its a tourist area. Between £3-£5. Unless you go to M&S
  • Yeah get to M&S and get a £2 meal deal! Very popular in the office at the moment :-)

The one im on about is my local one (near my house) its only a little High Street so not good enough for M&S, dont even have a Greggs.

The one near DH work is the only sarnie shop near him as he works on an industrial estate, so no meal deals for him either.

Buy the fixings and make your own sarnies, cheaper and you'll know what's in them.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Have you seen today's paper, sandwiches from high street chains such as subway and Pret have as much salt in one sandwich as 8 bags of crisps. That is shocking.
The best thing to do is make your own. I know a lady who owns a sandwich shop and she has also increased her prices. I asked her why and she said that the price she paid to suppliers for ingredients had gone up.
