Post office application query

Hi there

Husband and I are filling in forms for Aip from post office...he is self employed and its asking for gross taxable income where we had thought it would have asked for net profits?

Without wanting to sound silly is your gross taxable income the same as gross income? He has rang accountant but thought id ask while we wait on them getting back to us.

Thanks

No, Gross Taxable Income is effectively the same as net profit. i.e. It is the gross figure, but with any allowable expenses taken off.
