Advice Sort Please

Won't go into to much detail - but if anyone can advise we would be grateful, we were due to be left some money from a very close friend who was dying from cancer but they sadly passed away a lot earlier than was expected, my wife took out a £5000 loan which we were going to pay off when the money was received, but because they passed away so quickly it turns out that there will was not updated and no money was left to us. We are not going to contest it or anything like that. We haven't even montioned it to there family and the money has gone elsewhere.

So we now find ourselves with a total debt of around £9000 when you add our overdraft, 2 catalougues, 1 store card etc We are both in our 30's and have young children. I am unable to work and my wife looks after us all.

Are income is around £1000 a month (rent paid) and now cannot continue to keep all the people paid each month for much longer.

What should we do?, I have tried a couple of larger loan applications to consolidate it all but they have been unsuccessful.

ANY advice would be grateful - our situation is not desperate yet but will be in a few months if not sorted as soon as possible.

Thankyou to anyone who responds
