Don't know about skimming but my daughter plasters our kitchen (Indeed sometimes it does reach the ceiling) on a daily basis... I could send her around to yours if you want :rotfl::rotfl:0

I would happly recommend Murray Plastering. They are based in Bangor and when I used them last year to plaster my sunroom & kitchen they did a fantastic job, they even left the place clean after they had finished!
