If the Easter holidays put a strain on the family budget, plan ahead for next time and snap up the chance to ‘ride for a fiver’ courtesy of the National Riding Festival and the Daily Mail.

The perfect answer for cash strapped families looking for cheap and healthy yet adventurous activities for their kids, the Ride For a Fiver deal is also a great gym alternative for anyone who may have eaten just one too many Easter eggs. If it’s adventure for the little ones or some ‘feel good’ exercise for yourself and your partner, riding really is the solution.

Our promotion is just the start of activities planned for the National Riding Festival, which is now in its eleventh year. Kicking off in the summer, with a host of equine related activities scheduled across the country, the Festival’s aim is to encourage thousands of new and lapsed riders to take up the reins.

The UK has some of the finest riding centres in the world, many of whom are supporting the Festival and the Daily Mail by offering readers the chance to enjoy these facilities for just £5. To participate, simply collect three differently dated tokens from the Daily Mail. This offer is valid from now until 31 December 2009.

Comments

  • This offer seems a good price however I went on the website and the nearest one to me (I live in Flitwick in Bedfordshire) is in Wilstead. The normal price per lesson is £30 per 30 mins for a private lesson (yes thats £1 per minute!!) for a private lesson and £26 for a 30 min group lesson. _pale_ I have looked at a few other riding schools and the prices are similar. I would love to return to horse riding, I used to ride as a child and now I am in my mid twenties I would love to take it up again but the prices are prohibitively expensive. Does anyone know of any cheaper riding schools in my area (I'd be happy to travel up to 15 miles away) or even anyone who owns a stable/horse, wants to make a bit of extra money who might offer me cheaper riding lessons?
