my local asda dont stock the super jam evidently its only certain stores !.
does anyone know if you can mail in, like the porridge offer or is it a case of hard luck0 -
Annoyingly, the Superjam MOC scanned at £1.22 but my Asda charge £1.39 for it, and there was only one variety left when I got there. :mad:0

Superjam and Lyles Oats are not the greatest of sellers and as such the supermarkets only dedicate small shelf space to them. Superjam today at Asda, only 1 variety stocked and very small slot on jam aisle. When own brand jam is 40p and £1.22 for Superjam which is a third of the size in todays climate.... Organic juice tomorrow, not a great seller anyway so stock is going to be low. A crafty marketing ploy by The Sun???
The Mornflake Lyles Golden Syrup Porridge Oats shortage wasn't down the The Sun.
Mornflake (Morning Foods) forgot to tell Morrisons that they were running the coupon.
Someone at Mornflake, having been contacted by Morrisons HQ who were complaining that they had customers in all of their stores and no product to give out, eventually realised their mistake and took responsibility and turned it into a MAIL-IN Offer - See Tuesday's thread for details.
My store actually only had 12 boxes in stock when it opened that morning - apparently that would nomally have sufficed for the whole week.
As for today and ASDA - it appears that exactly the same has happened.
I had a chat with CS and then the Grocery Manager. He was unaware of the Superjam giveaway until 2pm this afternoon. He has, like Morrisons, chased up HQ who in theory are chasing up Superjam along the same lines.
As of 6pm he had not heard anything further, which obviously means unlike the Porridge, it is not a mail-in offer YET !
However he has said to me that I can redeem my coupon(s) over the next few days (basically as soon as they have stock).
As it happens my ASDA only stocks one variety, the raspberry (empty shelf - SEL £1.22), and they only had a total of 12 jars :rotfl: in the store this morning !

Just had a look on mysupermarket - its stocked in Sainsburys, Asda and Waitrose. As we've already had Sainsburys and Asda, whats the odds on Waitrose then?!!0 -
My ASDA dont even stock it,nor had they heard of the promo,so they had agreed with ASDA HO that anyone with the voucher could have an ASDA own brand jam as long as did not exceed £1.22,so I chose 907g of Strawberry jam worth £1.18 so am quite happy0
