Hen Night in or around Glasgow

Options
Hi,

I am trying to organise a hen night for a lady in my work. It is a very mixed group age wise and I am looking for some ideas as to what we could do that will be fun but not too outrageous. We also have a lot of things/events to pay for in work at the moment and would prefer something not too pricey (though not too cheap and tacky either!)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.

my workmate had a hen night that i thought was good for a mixed night.
it was-oran mor(side entrance one) for pre theatre dinner, then off to the stand for a comedy night and those who still had stregnth went out for a drink after.

  • Iv organised my best friends hen night for saturday (tomorrow night, so excited!) at Oneup on Royal Exchange Square, got quite a good deal, £30 a head which includes 3 course (albeit limited set menu) dinner, the private karaoke room for two hours after dinner and passes for the club. I choose Oneup cos its a mixed group of people and also didnt want to be trailing from one venue to the next.

Other suggestions - the Alea Casino at Springfield Quay and Arta, went to a hen night in Arta a few months ago and had a cocktail class after dinner which was a bit different! from memory the package was around £40 a head for dinner, the cocktail thingy and access to the club downstairs

I was at my niece's hen night last week in the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew, It was excellent, it was an Abba theme night so everyone dressed up (except us old ones). It cost £20 per head for a 3 course meal (which was lovely) and your entertainment, for an extra £20 you can book bed & breakfast, its on till 2 am. We hired a mini bus so there was no hassle about transport. I would highly recommend this it's a great atmosphere and there are plenty other party groups there too. Hope you all have a nice night wherever you end up.
