Spent £13.37 for stuff for work... got the money back so in theory I have had a no spend day! Hoorah!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Hung around reduced shelves in Asda today @ 7pm and spent 25p on a £2.50 sirloin steak, 25p on a £3 pack of Aberdeen Angus sliced roast beef and the same on a big pack of chicken and stuffing. Could have spent £1 on a 2kg pack of deli sliced chicken (from behind the deli counter) reduced from £12 or 25p on a 250g pack of organic mince. Obviously all expiring today but a cheap supper for SWMBO - I had some smoked haddock @ £3.

Lots of Asda's 'Extra Special' brand cheesecake which nearly tempted me together with 16p pots of double cream - not quite as good as 6:30pm in local Waitrose - stuff with a couple of days for similar money and Waitrose quality. I can feel a thread coming on ....

Hopefully that will make some inroads to the cost of seeing the consultant about my back but thats another story.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOTMAN and EAMON!!!

Went and bought pizzas at 8 a.m. for dinner (looked forward to them all day - cheaper than getting a take away!) and sandwiches for lunch :o (did take own lunch in the rest of the week - honest) as well as a couple of other things (chicken on offer etc) = £16.28.
Met up with friends for a large bottle of water (me - driving) and OH had a couple of pints = £7.
Friends suprised we left so soon - but had to be stricked about the ££££! ;)

Total for us £23.28 - so the weekend is creeping in!!! Tomorrow is groceries day - plan to do strict list before going. Still won't be a no spend day.
  • 5 dyas in a row that I have spent no money apart from what auctomatically comes out of the bank. Yipee for me sadly will have to spend money at the weekend kids need shoes etc food shopping but never mind- big step for me to have any spend free days
  • well had to have my hair done today so that cost £50
but i wont be having it done for another 3 months and its budgeted for :)

    paid £35 off debts :j :j :j

£20 on lunch with a friend i dont see very often to celebrate my new job so i can justify that money :o

£1.99 on a jumper from the charity shop :p coming out of clothes allowance..

£50 on electric bill   3 months so not too bad i think...

so total spend for me: £157  but only £20 unbudgeted :T
 :j OFFICIAL DFW NERD NO 159 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH OUR DEBTS:beer: :j

If you do a job well, people won't be sure you've done anything at all

    Must claim back bank charges!!!
