Why don't you try a local craft fair or car boot sale...

You could also try selling it as a job lot through a local paper add - is it all the same range?

I have sold costume jewellery in the past previously at car boot sales. Although it doesnt sell aswell now as it used to a few years ago. I think this is because of places like Primark etc, where you can pick stuff up brand new for a £1 etc.

However if you have other stuff to sell than this could be worth it!

I am in the same kind of predicament. I used to do jewellery parties, and bought lovely beaded items from a wholesaler. However, the market dried up and now I am left with over £100 worth of stock. It not costume jewellery like you would find in Topshop/Peacocks, but more fancy stuff such as semi precious gem stones, and beaded - more occasion wear.

I have tried selling the items individually on Ebay - didnt sell. If I take them to a car boot, I wont get a fraction of what they are worth.

I am willing to sell the whole lot for about £30, does anyone know anywhere which will take this kind of thing???

Just a thought, both posters looking to sell might have better luck listing the lot as a wholesale lot on ebay as these seem to sell better; keywords "wholesale, lot, joblot, bundle, clearance, bankrupt"
Either list as one big lot or if there is loads split into smaller lots. I would think that two lots of £15 for £50 worth of gemstone jewellery packs wouldn't be unrealistic, especially if you put a Buy it Now on them.
  • Etsy.com is very good for items that are too unique for ebay sales and you set your own price.
