So howcome the usual bulls are all doing great with their lives costing less each year, then?

I was going to post this up myself, as I had a feeling I knew who would state they are in minus teritory, and I'm not wrong!

Stop being so paranoid..... perhaps it's the calculator and it's generalisations as stated by others?

It didn't ask me if I was on fixed or tracker... I'm on fixed and my personal inflation is nothing like -2.4%.

Hence why I said I was surprised.

That's a mighty big chip on your shoulder.

Graham I am on a .49 tracker since October we spend about £240 per month on diesel(which is cheaper than this time last year.).

in reality i am most probably -20%+

Do you want me to lie? OK for Graham yes my personal inflation as gone up event though it is a complete lie.

Ever thought we may all have mortgages and run cars over reasonable distances?

Perhaps we are shrewder than your average mortgage holders.

Also I should add the BBC calculator seems to be just done on standards that are not correctable by users. EG type of mortgage etc.

5.7% for me. Expected it to be higher actually, given that most of money goes on rent and food. Nothing spent on running a car and I don't have a mortgage.

oh dear - this paranoia is getting really bad. and stop this bull/bear rivalry nonsense please.

as stated before probably because the calculator is very general and doesn't differentiate between a fixed or variable rate mortgage.

it also allows you to enter your mortgage amount which in my case is the biggest deflationary factor.

Johnny Bravo mentioned a chip on your shoulder - he's underestimated you.
