Quick post BR mortgage Q

I've been out of work since the end of March, put my JSA claim in on the 1st April and just got a letter stating I'm not entitled, some mess up confirming my wifes ID
Was trying to sort it out between the payment office (Totton) and my local Jobcentre, but God its hard work. Basicailly the Totton office couldn't confirm my wifes ID, dispite me taking her Passport with me and her claiming some 2 years ago, reading between the lines my local Jobcentre maynot of stamped the photocopy and Totton then closed my claim.
Was in the middle of trying to get Totton to reopen my claim as the local job centre just said I'd have to put a whole new claim in, when our house phone died!!!
Anyway enough ranting, we went BR on 8th April and as we have not had 1p come in since 1st April (Child Benefit got frozen whilst changing Bank Account, still waiting on Child Tax Credit) we cannot pay the mortgage this month. We have equity inthe house and it'll most likely be taken off of us at some point, will the shortfall (this months payment) be covered in the BR? I think it will just want clarification.
Oh and to add to the JSA mess we cannot claim Council Tax relief until it is sorted, not sure how we can pay that in a couple of weeks time???
