Newcastle Metro Arena Parking
Options
We're going to the Metro arena in Newcastle on Thursday to see an event, and would like to know if anyone local to Newcastle knows the best place for parking from say 3pm - 11.30pm?
Ideally free parking (side of a road etc), or cheap.
I'm not sure how much the car parks are around the arena, but expect they would be expensive to park for a number of hours..
Anyone any ideas?

The Grainger Town carpark is 25p after 6pm.
Parking in Newcastle has just been handed over to the council, so yellow lines are everywhere and free parking is hard to find.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0
