Went to book airport shuttle bus ....."now closed"
Anyone have suggestions on cheap transport other than airlink (to much hassle to get to west end)

depending on where you are coming from. there is a taxi firm in gorgie that does there and back for £12 pp.
a lot more expensive than the bus. they stopped the shuttle buses a month or so ago i think, i can remember reading something in the evening news0 -

I've always thought the shuttle a bit of a rip-off because it charged so much more but travelled a very similar route, apart from its very eastern end maybe.0 -
4 am, heavy suitcase and two buses isn't my idea of a good start to holidays! Same on way back: wet bus stop on a Sunday night isn't fun.
Shuttle was great, almost door to door. I always compared it to taxi, not buses, due to convenience. Similar system in Prague works well.0
