Scratching done - 10ps only today......and it is the last day of Virgin scratchies, so a sad sad day indeed!
Banking done, and another £25 to the "pay off the debt" account, having received some matched betting money, so that is not too bad.
Other than that - nothing to report, no mystery shops/amazon or ebay parcels to post/etc.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Thanks! I mentioned the squares to OH last night and I was right he does think i'm crazy but admitted that he could see why it would motivate me! So said I could do one but it had to be discreet on the fridge. Eh? Is my OH embarassed about our 30k debt??
Shocking...lol. I'm not sure how i'll make it discreet...best idea I can think of is to never invite anyone round
Shame about the virgin scratchies. I do Butlins bingo ones and they are still going - does that mean they will stop soon too??
Have a good day all!!DFW Nerd #11520 -
Hi babyhead - I do bb, and ever since it got a bit dodgy, I've been spending about 20% of the gains on bingo - we haven't had a notice its finishing tho, which is what Virgin's done, I think. I got banned from TAB ages ago (for not playing bingo! which is why I started doing it on bb).2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Hypno
Well done on another bit paid off the debt today.
Do you actually take the 'pay off the debt' off your total straight away or are you waiting til you use it to actually pay off a debt? Hope that makes sense.
Me? Obsessed with your debt journey? Don't know what you mean :o:o:rotfl:0 -

Well, the "pay off your debt" pot, is where I put the "extras" in the second half of the month.
During the first half, they go off the egg loan, but in the second half of the month, egg can't cope with that, so I have to put it in the "pot" ready for my normal payment to come out on 1st month, then when that has been paid, I can pay anything in the "pot" to egg as well.
But I do count it in my signature when I put it in the pot - that way, there is no way I can spend it on anything else, because I couldn't bear to have to increase my signature totals.......
If I didn't count it until the physical transfer to Egg, then there is always the possibility it would be spent on something else, so I need that extra bit of discipline. It forms part of my snowball calculator and everything!
But I don't count it twice.
