My current debt/story

Just thought i'd pop in and share my current debt. I owe a total of £4200 over 3 credit cards and I have a loan dripping away at £3000. Not really sure where to go from here. I've stopped spending on the cards but I want to try and get all the debt in one place so I can pay it off. Was thinking about getting another loan to consolodate it all together but not really sure if I can (my credit isn't that good). Nice to kind of get this off my chest anyway lol

Before you add your SOA just some things that have helped me save cash:
- Taking lunch/breakfast to work - I can spend £5 on a Sunday in Asda to cover breakfast/lunch for the week.
- Carsharing to work - not an option for everyone but not sure why I didn't think of it before!
- Cancelling all luxury direct debits that I didn't really need - eg. £58 gym membership . I now have a bike instead..
- Telling family/friends - now they know why I can't afford expensive nights out/ big pressies/ lots of takeaways - in fact they are annoyed if I do spend a lot on these.
- Cutting down on takeaways and nights out - not been doing much socialising...
- Planning out an accurate budget.
- Doing my own hair colour - at least until I have paid things off.
- Keeping a spending diary - just starting but will be interesting..
Just some thoughts of mine
