You are currently spending nearly 1/3 of your money on travel- car and train. Have you looked at all your options with careful calculations to decide this is worth it to you- including moving to London or nearer a train station and living without a car or changing job?
Keeping the lower credit card would be a bad idea as each month you are only paying £25 off it while about £32 interest charges are added- so your debt is going up. I would advise you pay both credit cards off and then use the extra money available from not paying them to save for bigger purchases and ensure you never need to run cards or loans up again. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
