CSA help advice - DODGY ???

Hi,
My husbands ex ( its a long story ) has been terribel over the years.
After deniging to CSA we were giving her any money we now for the last 10 years have paid it directly inthe bnk for her ( so its a recipet).
Anyway she is in now some kind of debt and wants us to pay the Child support into the childs account( the child is under 16).
Now i dont know if this is legal however to me she is trying to hide the fact she is getting money due to her debt ? She wants us to pay it into the childs account ASAP.
I personally dont want to one reason ; she caused us enough hassle in the past when we paid her cash for 4 years , she deniged recieving a penny so we now have to pay arrears.
Also to me she is trying to hide the fact she is recieving money.
She leads a very extravagany lifestyle and now i think her credit cards have got the better of her.
Im not sure if this is legal paying the full CSA amount to a mnor either .
An Advice??

You can't pay the child support into the child's bank account. It is money that is meant to be used by the PWC for the upkeep of the child.

If you did this it would not be counted as CSA payments and you would be in arrears.

Tell her you can't do it and will continue the way it's being done. Her debt issues aren't your problem and you need to make sure that you are keeping to the CSA agreement.

    Agree entirely with LG.
Any money paid directly into the child's account will be viewed as a gift by the CSA & will not count as child maintenance. Therefore, with her history of denying payments, your Husband will end up with a potentially huge arrears bill sometime in the future.
Personally, if she won't accept his present arrangement of paying her direct, I would ask the CSA to collect his payments & then send them onto her.
Then she can argue with the CSA about which account to pay the money into & hopefully, leave your Husband alone. Yeah, I know, some hope!!!!!!!!!

Excuse me but CHEEEEEEKY COW!!!!!!!! I agree with all that donedoingdebt has said. I would actually take the step of telling the CSA that you want them to collect the money from yourselves from now on as then she cant ask you to do anything other than pay it! I am still fighting for money from my DS dad who wot even return CSA calls, I have never had a penny from him, tho he does buy the odd bit of uniform and very expensive xmas/birthday pressies, what a great daddy!!!!! It annoys me that the person with care can be so malicious, your getting your money so be grateful! Ok, rant over, lol!!!!
