I think it's worth (no pun intended) taking a look at this guy who sent 100 letters to 100 companies asking fro freebies

That is quality! I'd give it ago, but don't think I could afford 100 stamps.
Stamps must be next to nothing in the US! 0 -
Thanks for the link - interestiing read

He didn't do himself any favours with some of his letters tho' did he?
For example, when writing to the spam company:
Dear Sir or Madam:
I love your products. Well, I'm actually not too crazy about Spam. The meat is a little too... can-shaped... for my taste. It's a little creepy. Anyway. I am writing to you because I am a chili connoisseur, and I love your chili. Please send me all of the free chili samples you can, without getting yourself into trouble for giving away too much free chili to a guy like me. Thank you well in advance,
Tom Locke, chili enthusiast
I can't help feeling that he would have had a better response from some of the companies if he'd worded the letters a little differently, still he's done ok, already practically doubled the value of his $39 of stamps - the canned air was a right result.0 -
cant read it, it says service unavailableMoney's too tight to mention!!!0

mine said that at 1st but click it a couple of different time and it'll work.0

Yeah, it did that earlier. I suspect the server's a cheap one. Well, I know it is, because he says so! Try again in while, it'll load eventually.
I agree with Zounds, I din't read all his letters but I reckon if I was one of the first half-dozen on his list I'd have chucked his letter in file 13! There's no, "Would you?" Just, "Send me" like it's some kind of demand and not a request. Still, I'm not American, so what do I know?
