Hat at hotel wedding?
Floss
Would you wear a hat at a hotel wedding? We've been invited to one, and I am trying to decide on my outfit.......can't work out whether to wear a hat, a fascinator or go bare-headed......what do you all think?
Thanks!
Thanks!

We've been to four weddings in the last year or so and it seems to me that hats are conspicuous by their abscence! I've seen a couple of fascinators but generally the trend - at least at the weddings we get invited to  - is not to bother. Even 'high profile' guests (mother of the bride, bridegrooms mother, grans etc) seem to be opting for the bare headed look. Personally, I like hats but for most of us they are an extravagance that we seldom get the oppotunity to wear again. HTH

I'd always say go for a hat - but then I love hats

I did see a great one in accessorise, that was a tiny hat on an alice band - more the size of a fascinator - which might be a good compromise?!Nobody I'd rather be

The wedding I was at in Feb had loads of hats!
I would go for a hat. I'm hoping to see hats at my wedding next year

when my dd got married last year i wore flowers in my hair, it was just a bit different but a few of the guests wore hats, found out that a guest should not remove her hat until the mother of the bride does wedding equitte? (not sure of the spelling) so thought i would pass it on0

I'm getting married soon in a banqueting suite (so like a hotel without rooms!) and I know at least my Mum and one of my besties are wearing a hat. I've no idea about anyone else.
I'm pleased Mum is wearing an 'at in the end
I love it - she look gorgeous in it. Very MOB;) She had every intention of wearing a fascinator orginally 0 -
It seems like all of our guests (not the men thankfully) have got hats for our registry office wedding.0
