Hello,
I had dishwasher problems recently, it broke down soon after cancelling my appliance insurance. We had been through the manual and tried everything, but to no avail. I was worried this was going to be expensive!
My mum recommended a chap who had fixed her dishwasher a couple of years ago, who I called - I asked him about his charges as I was expecting a call out fee and then an hourly rate.
He explained that he charges £30 flat fee if he can fix it without needing parts (which he says he can in over 50% of cases), but - if he needs parts he will give a free no obligation quote, so you can decide whether to get it fixed it or not!
He came out the same day, after about 30 minutes he had dome some investigations, thought he had found the cause, repaired some leaks, made a new seal of a pipe, and altered a few things, ran a test wash and it was sorted - it took him over two hours in total, all for a grand total of £30!
Very nice polite, helpful bloke too - I was pleasantly surprised by the value and fair pricing, and would highly recommend! Left everywhere neat and tidy, and dishwasher is working great!:T
- he calls his business 24 7 Washer/Dryer repairs, the number is 01623 456453
