Wedding Day was great

First of all, a HUGE Thanks to everyone on her for all the advise. You are all fab.
Our wedding took place on Friday 17th April at 3pm. The day was dull and I was told it was cold, but I never felt it, too caught up in the excitement I suppose. I walked down the ailse to Amazed, by Lonestar and walke back out to String Quartet playing of The Beatle "All you need is love". The ceremony was quite quick, my mum said a reading, well part of, then she started to cry, so she finished after the ceremony as it had a bit at the end for everyone to cheer the bride and groom. We then went to a restaurant for a meal, it was delicious. The owner had the room looking great and greeted us with a glass of champagne. Everyone said the meal was great, huge portions and everyone really enjoyed it, they couldn't believe we only paid £8.95 for 2 courses for the adults and £4.95 for 3 courses for the kids. The total for 14 adults, 9 kids and non stop drinks we paid £245.
Then we had a mini bus pick us up at 6.30pm to take us to the reception venue. It was a social club about 20 minutes away. The hall was decorated beautifully. I had the mirror plates with the vases with tulips and gypsy, tea lights and crystal as centre pieces. Our cake was from M&S and I am told it was delicious. The staff had also got white table covers then a tartan cover on top of the white. It was soooo beautiful, only thing is I forgot to take a picture. We danced the night away until 1am. I had about another 40 at night and we had a buffet of chicken curry, veg curry, wraps, quiche, sausage rolls, cheese rolls, pakora and cocktail sausages. Everyone loved it and it being a social club the drink was cheap, which made it even more enjoyable for everyone. My mum has had calls all weekend for aunties and cousins to say they ahd a great night.
DH and I have had 2 nights of bliss, without the 3 kids. They went to stay with family. It was great getting up late on Saturday, lazing about, going back to bed
, then going out for a lovely meal at night.

Forgot to say. At the end of the night 1 of the straps on my dress broke and I had to pin it up. On checking it tonight the other 1 is just about to break also. DH says I should take it back to Debenhams and complain and ask for my money back. What do you think? I was just going to get it fixed at the alteration place and sell it on ebay.

Congratulations you all look gorgeous and so happy.
I would def complain about the wedding dress (which was lovely) no way should the strap have broken.Booo!!!0 -
Wow, what a beautiful dress. You look fabulous and so do your three kids (I'm presuming from the photos).
If you had a lovely day I wouldn't bother complaining about the dress, unless it caused you actual distress during the wedding day. If you do decide to complain and the company decide to resist then it might make your happy day less happy - you'll just end up remembering the arguments with Debenhams and not the actual day.
