DSR'S /Easter Hols

Is it just me or are people being really inconsiderate when marking DSR's for items sold over the easter hols? I had a few items ending over the easter weekend, and obviously could not post until the Tuesday (and i did,at the soonest possible time,keeping the buyers informed aswell)

My dispatch time has now dropped to 4.4! :mad: All the buyers are in the U.K too, You'd think they would be slightly more understanding! I'm only a small time private seller, so when i get a bad rating they really do take a tumble!

Anyone else had this problem?

Not yet, but I'm surprised I haven't had problems to be honest. For some reason I had a number of sales on Saturday after the PO closed and couldn't of course post until Tuesday, I did warn all the buyers but half the time I think they forget and just see their items arriving 'late'.

Nope - sold quite a lot on the Thursday before and didn't post until Tuesday, but thus far feedback has been glowing.

I've one payment due from Easter weekend and have raised an unpaid case today - I know its holiday time, but my view is that if you have time to bid then you have time to pay.

No, not really. My DSR is steady at 4.8.

I did post on the Thursday/Saturday though, so deliverys arrived Saturday/Tuesday.

I did a run to the PO on Saturday at around 11.30, so everything purchased Friday went and hopefully arrived Tuesday or Wednesday anyway. I didn't even bother upgrading to 1st class and yet I know some of it still arrived Tuesday from the feedback I was left.

I forgot about the bank holidays when I was listing, I did email each of the buyers advising they would be posted once the post office re-opened on Tuesday.
I sent them all 1st class though, even though I hadnt originally quoted for it. I am also a small time seller & didnt want my ratings going low. Silly I know but seemed important at the time :rolleyes:.
Fortunately it has paid off & all who have bothered leavinf feedback seem to have marked me well on dispatch.

Just did the morning check of all my current ebay selling accounts, dispatch stars are still 4.9 across all of them. I don't think that is bad considering that I use 2nd class post on all bar one of my selling accounts.

Nope, but things were very quiet Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon then I had a flood (for me) of sales on the Tues...which was nice.
