Never clean the inside of the pot, then the tea will taste better.
Use a dark pot, it will not show.
I have a metal pot, crome on copper, from New Zealand It is quite attractive and the tea stays hotter longer.
The inside looks well used.0 -
Hi Otterspam my mum also used washing powder but it took a bit of rinsing to take soapy taste away, i now use any oxy cleaner like Vanish, or oxiclean just put ina tsp of stuff and add boiling water and whoosh away with the stains0
