Found this on the genuine GHD site:
    http://www.ghdhair.com/beware-imitations/website-checker/

Sounds like its counterfit. Use at your own peril!

Yes its a fake site, DON'T USE THEM. I had to cancel my credit card after they deducted an unauthorised amount of money.

Not sure myself, but a while ago there was a whole thread on GHDs, you could do a search for it in the MSE box at the top of the screen- see if anyone else had anything similar.

Personally, I would have thought the fact the site is mentioned on the GHD website may help you out- if thats where you ordered them from, just go to the link I posted above (its the genuine GHD site) for the complete list.
Also, you could try emailing the site themselves, see if they can offer any suggestions, or even try befriending a salon and asking them to get some sort of evidence they are fake for you. Or try the CAB as a last resort (a last resort as they are usually really busy)

Under the distance selling regulations, Google it, you can return an item and demand a full refund if this done within 7 days of receiving the item.

Also the website is flagged as selling fake goods on the official GHD website. This should be good enough to cause the credit card company to give you a refund. I had no problems when I explained this to them. They seemed to know all about them.
