Another good example of why I now consider John Lewis to be one of the most expensive shops on the planet if you earn a lot and like to spend a lot.

The savings aren't as big as they look, a number of on-line stores have this combination for about £2200 and the bare TV for £1900.

Having said that the in-store price looks a good one, especially with the extended guarantee.

I agree the price is not that special, it is the 5 year guarantee that makes it a good deal.
