Yes! It's what you've paid your taxes for over the years.

  • What a strange question! No matter what your position is, you should always sign on otherwise you will lose out! Do it as soon as you can and you could be looking at an additional £400 per month!

  • Exactly. Doesn't matter (obviously, legally) where it comes from but every little counts. Especially now.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

I have claimed for the frst time ever....been surprised by how much support there is. You can call the benefits helpline (hav`nt got number....will try & get it) & check entitlement over phone. Also check local council for any housing benefit & council tax benefit.

Thats why the benefit system is there....to help when you need it.

I was pleasantly surprised last year when I made a claim for tax credits. I got an additional £800 per month - it has made ends meet.

  • hi guys i was working up until the end of Feb. i was struggling but just buried my head in the sand and ploughed on. now the work has stopped and i have been chasing every lead to try and get other work. now the pots empty and BR seems the only solution.
  • So why not claim JSA, then? Seems only a sensible thing to do after all. As you said, the 'pot is now empty'.

    Well, dare I say/suggest this:
