re-freezing chicken stock

Hello! Have searched for this and can't find it - apologies if I've missed it.
Anyway I understand the rule for raw chicken i.e. can freeze (not frozen before),defrost then cook then freeze once more. Am not sure how to work this out for my stock - I think I'm being a bit daft!!
So I cook a roast chicken. Depending on the time of day I either make the stock the same day or put the carcass in the fridge and make next morning. I then freeze it. I have used some for risottos etc but now have loads of frozen stock!! I would like to make a chicken soup - will save some chicken from our next roast and here's the question - will I be able to defrost the stock, make soup and re-freeze?
My thinking is no but thought I'd double check with the font of all knowledge the OS forum!!!!
Many thanks in advance and sorry for the long post!
Tracey.

I always assume that if I take something FROM the freezer eg raw meat, thaw it then cook it I can then freeze it because it has been changed .
So if you take out your stock, make soup then freeze the soup you're not freezing stock you're freezing soup and it should be fine...

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I do it all the time and have been doing so for years. I make stock, freeze it. Get it out make something else with it- soup, casserole, gravy and then freeze those leftovers.0
