Hi
I am really sorry you have such a big mortgage to pay. And I wanted to say good luck. Lots of us have been there/are there and over time it does get better.
Not sure why you won't get sick pay? SSP is available!

hey
thanks everyone
as i was saying to OH the other day, we can afford our bills (just) but are going to be in debt for the next 5 years n be miserable or we can move out jus for a couple of years, be debt free and have saved for our wedding, and lucky for us we have the option of moving out as we get on well with his family
we are aiming to save £500 a month towards the debt

p.s i could get ssp but £70 a week wont cover any of the bills0 -
Hi Stacey,
Just wanted to say good luck with the move. It sounds like a really good idea to move in with OH's parents and get debt-free in 2 years. Don't beat yourself up about moving out of your own place - most 21-year-olds still live with their parents anyway, and you're miles ahead of most of them as you've already got a house! Plus a lovely finace, supportive family and in-laws.
Hope you can sort the depression soon as well, it's horrible, isn't it? Good idea to leave your job and get a lower-paying one if you have to, cos work's just work, but your health is your wealth!

thanx snow white! yea your right we still ahve our own home, even in 2 years when we move back in, i would imagin a lot of my friends still wont have their own houses, then wen they are all skint saving for deposits i will actually be debt free

yea depression is a nightmare, i have suffered from it for years following an event that happened to me it went away for a while, but as soon as anything else stresses me out or i get upset it surfaces really easily, then its harder to deal with everything its a viscious cycle
but hopefully in the next few months it should subside a lil
and at least by moving out now, we will have money for over the summer when we like to go out more anyways

I have just rang lloyds regarding the 4k loan that i didnt realise hadnt been paid off, they wanted £100 a month which i just havent got, but they have agreed to £30 a month and froze the interest, which i am happy with
. I am hoping to get this loan paid off by the end of the year too.
Also chase holmes are coming round tomorrow to take pics of the house and sort out the forms for renting it out, they estimate it will only take a week or two to find a tennant too so fingers crossed

Hi, Just wanted to send you a virtual ((hug)) I have also suffered with stress, anxiety and depression and each time something else happens I seem to take longer to feel better, so I can sympathise.
I am considering renting out my home as it has been on the market for well over a year now and no one is interested. What forms ect will you need in order to let yours? I assume there would be things such as safety certificates and if you could report back about any costs I would be most grateful.
The best thing I find when everything gets me down is get some proper excercise. I am then knackered enough to sleep properly and everything feels a little bit better after a good nights sleep
Take Care

hey shinyfeet

To rent our house out we had to get halifax to give us a consent to lease form, this jus gives us permission to rent out the house and leave the mortgage the way it is, this didnt cost us anything
we have 2 have 2 certificates to rent out our house one for the boiler and an energy asseser thingy, these are £50 each from the estate agents, then we are paying £345 fees for them to advertise n do the agreements and checks etc. The only other cost is if we ask them to collect the rent each month and do quaterly checks on the property (full management) this is 10% of any rent each month
hope this all helps, with £600 rent and then the council tax, gas, electric, water, tv licence, sky and phone line to stop paying we are around £800 a month better off
and angelicmary, didnt take any offense with ya post lol, i will change it as soon as i get a job
everythin else is fallin into place now i jus need to find a job
