Very very bad day. £553.52 for my insurance for the year and then £120 for my service for the car. So theres me in my overdraft after spending £673 in one day. Luckly for me I've got a £1250 interest free over draft. I've worked out I will be about £600 in to that by the end of the month. So that's about £300 to live on next month :)

Lodger's good actually - managed to her to do some hoovering! She did it like a bloke (only the bits she could see easily and not round skirtings) but practice makes perfect ;)

Other than that it is working out well.

LOL!! That has probably struck a chord with all the women on this board :rotfl:

    (Sorry fellas!!)

I will not be spending today but OH will have to spend a few quid on groceries.

Update: Have spent £2.20 - so much for no spend day!

Hehe!!! My flatmates hoover like that & laugh at me when I move the table, chairs etc onto the sofa.. They told me the hoover wasnt working, but all it need was for the bag to be changed. DOH! DOH! DOH!

    Enjoy your luncheon. xx

Thank you for the reminder that I need to get bags for mine!

<guilt> I really hate hoovering because our carpets are so past it that it hardly makes a difference so I don't always pick up everything I should and just go round. I promise faithfully for the future that should I get new carpet I'll be good though!

Spent 60p today on diet coke (i'm addicted!!), and spent £16 on groceries last night, bought lots of salad/fruit & healthy bits for the first time in ages - feel so ill and unhealthy (and miserable) so thought I should "buck my ideas up" :0)

Going home to see family this weekend which will be nice. Havent seen them since end Jan. (and my little sis is doing my hair - cheap labour!!) Just kidding!! :0) Well, no, I'm not actually :0)

I've also just had to pay out for my holiday in July. Luckly I had this one thought out so I had savings in my account to cover it and I've got plenty of savings for spending money as well. So that's a total of £1109.02 today :(
