Sounds hard work BB. Can you use it again another year?0

I can do bookie - it's a course which is run around 5 or 6 times a year. It's the first time I've taught it though so I need to put all the course materials, handouts, activities etc together. There's also an exam at the end of the day because it's a recognised qualification so I need to ensure everything is covered.
A whole day of them listening to me talking - poor boogers.........:rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

What qualification BB? I think you would be very pleasant to listen too! At least it will only need 'tweaking' next time.0

It's the Level 2 Food Hygiene course. There is a set book the learners get 2 weeks before hand so I at least have the material to hand to work from, rather than starting with literally a blank page which I normally do for the other courses I teach. I make a power point presentation from that, but need to then devise some activities to break it up, quizzes etc, apparently there is a DVD I can use at work that they can watch but I've not seen it yet.
The timings are important because there is a lot to get through and I'm trying to guesstimate where I can put breaks/lunch etc without it being too rushed or too much information overload.
It's a qual. which really is about common sense really and just about anyone could pass (20 out of 30 needed) without too much prior knowledge (or even staying awake during the course!) and all the questions are multiple choice.
The exam is an hour but I doubt many will many (if any) will need more than 30 minutes."Stay Wonky":D

I though it might be. We offer it to our leaders although I haven't found time to do it.
I found out what AQA was the other day. I assumed before that it was something to do with the AQA text books I supply to schools and thought you must be a marker/examiner!
Almost wondered if I could do it from the shop.0 -
