My son who is 17 as decided he wants to start wearing contact lenses after 15 years of wearing glasses, can anyone tell me the cheapest way of using them ie buying daily or monthly or buying just constant use ones. Also the cheapest place toget them from. Thanx in advance

Once he's up & running he can get them from the US.

But as a newbie he will need checks & assistance & is better using a local optition.

Monthlys are probably the cheapest, BUT only if he cleans them properly & handles them gently (& doesn't loose them).
  • He's a 17 year old boy - he will lose them, he will forget to clean them, he will drop them down the loo etc etc. I would suggest at the moment he will be better off with dailies - not the cheapest for normal people, but then it doesn't matter if he loses them.

Is he good at drying his hands? It is important that he dries his hands after washing them before he puts the lenses in or takes them out.

You should be a ble to get a free test and free trial at somewhere like D&A or Specsavers.
