I need help. I am the cheif bridesmaid for my sister's wedding. She is getting married in September in Italy. She wants her hen party in Italy near Venice. I dont know the first thing about organizing a hen party let alone abroad! Any idea's or tips welcome! Also need ideas for what we could do!

Firstly, do a quick search on expedia to see if you can get an idea of how much it would cost everyone to go to teh area she wants to for the number of days she wants to go for. Can the people she wants to go afford this and to go to the wedding?
If the answer is no, then perhaps talk to her to see which is more important to her - the people who can't go or the location.
If its still ok for venice, then have a look at online travel guides or borrow a recent lonely planet or rough guide from the library to get ideas on what there is to do.
Expedia is generally quite good for short trips though there will be other websites. If you are considering any hotels then look them up on trip advisor for reviews. You could also post on tripadvisors forum for teh area if you have any specific questions.
Remember any activities would need to be within budget for the people who are invited.
My tip would be to get travel insurance and to ensure no one drinks too much before the flight! Someone missing the flight or being refused boarding is likely to put a dampner on the trip and it is easy to get carried away on such special occasions!0
