McDonald's Monopoly

Hi,
I recently won the Mcdonald's Monopoly instant win, getting £100 HQHair.com vouchers (which I have sent off for).

I am not a girl or a guy who particularly likes manicures so what do you think the best way to exchange them for cash is?

Sell them on ebay? If I were to, how do you think I should start my auction? Thanks a lot.

I didn't think HQ Hair sold manicures- thought they sold beauty products!

If your struggling for choice, you could always buy a few products for friends/relatives for upcomming birthdays/Christmas gifts? (and if you have no cosmetic fans around you, I am a huge Stila make-up fan!).

Or you could sell the vouchers on ebay. Most people can get away with starting at 99p and going from there- vouchers seem to go pretty well whatever category they are (do a search, you'll see what I mean) they seem to go for anything from 70 to 125% of thier value (yes, you read right, they sell sometimes for more then they are worth!) not sure why exactly if happens, (many reason when I asked on here a while ago) but it does happen.

    Hi

i am always a bit wary about buying a voucher on eBay espically the new card types as what if you pay £40 for a voucher and it turns up with only £25 on it when it said would have £50, i guess you could go to paypal for item not as described and send it back.

I am also wary about selling them, what if i sell a voucher for say 60 quid thats got a value of 65 and then once ive sent it, special delivery of course the buyer contacts eBay and says it doesnt have 65 on it but a lower value, paypal allow to send it back, i get it back and its got no money on it and a lessor value?

has anyone actually sold a voucher or bought one on ebay

i agree with the post above that i have noticed vbouchers go for more than they are worth which personallyi do not understand, if you want it why not just go to that store or its website and by the voucher yourself, why pay more?? crazy:p
  • Thanks a lot for the replies,

I think I may give ebay a try then and if it doesn't work I can save it for presents and if all else fails buy jennie a manicure set:
