good price but a quick note, this tv is mentioned as an alternative in the freemans thread, its not as high a spec as the freemans one, there are various reasons its not as good spec wise and it doesnt have inbuilt freeview etc. ;)

And the freemans 20% off first order is still going - so it couldn't have been a mistake.

The model at pixmania is a 51, the freemans is a 41.

51 has replaced the 41, so your getting the newer model for only a few more £££

    LE32R41B
    LE32T51B
    LE32R51B
    LE32M51B
    LE32M61B

    and possibly more!

The differences as far as I can tell are:

    R - standard version
    M - better screen - 10 billion colours, 3000:1 contrast etc
T - Was a French model, but think now it's just a cut down model (lesser speakers (7.5w vs. 10w), different casing etc - same actual screen panel tho)
    51 vs 41 - the LE32R51BD is a Dixons/Currys version of LE32R41BD. Only styling differences.

Plus there's BD(X) models which include a Freeview tuner

How do we know? I don't see that stated anywhere
  • The LE32R51BD has a 8ms response time compared with the LE32R41BD's 12ms response time. IMO LE32R51BD is a nicer looking set but only available via Dixons or Curry's and is £848.13 online, 999.99 in store. If you use the currys £50 discount code and an egg money credit card giving 6% cash back the set comes in at £750.02 a bargin me thinks! so much so I just bought one. If you include a half price stant for the TV at £89.99 the total packae would cost you £834.83.

No mention of HDMI or DVI ports (the PC port is VGA), but does have a HD resolution.
So technically its a HD but with no DVI/HDMI no point?

Save a bit more of your hard earned cash and get a Phillips 9830
