Anyone know about NW vaulations, are they accurate, or not?
I know they do drive bys, but does anyone have any knowledge of how they work, I mean do they tend towrads a low or actual figure compared to current market trends?....any inside info if anyone has had any homebuying valu figures?
I'm just looking at re-mortgaging with them, but have not had our place valued for many years...

They are accurate to them! They no longer just do drive bys. They will carry out two survey. Market valuation and will this go to your house!Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

Hi TeddyR - well yes, I know that much - and you could say that about them all.
I'm just wondering cos it will affect my LTV and our house is not a standard house in a standard street and nothing has been sold in my road for many years, for easy market comparison (only 7 houses).....

They use Countrywide Surveyors and are usually accurate as can be, it will just be a mortgage valuation report although they may need to have a root round the house if it is a case of there hasn't been many sales in the area0
