wishvalue refused by asda :-(

my wishvalue coupons were refused by asda yesterday - they said they don't accept wishvalue - has anyone else had this? she called over a supervisor (i suspect that she wasn't actually the supervisor, just another colleague) and she confirmed, no wishvalue. but i'd used a coupon in there 2 days before hand. i'd bought the product on the coupon (fructis long and strong, they had shampoo.conditioner specials packages for £1.99) and she still wouldn't accept it!

I'd e-mail Asdas and tell them about it. I got e-mail confirmation for my local store saying yes they accept coupons up to 10% of shopping without buying the product. No idea why your store was funny about it as Wishvalve are not internet printed coupons!

okay, i'll let you know :-)
i've emailed wishvalue about it, asking if there are any other shops that refuse their vouchers. i've used wishvalue vouchers before when i haven't bought the product, asda do take up to ten percent (if you have bought the product, that voucher is still included in the ten percent). but on this occasion i HAD bought the product and wasn't best pleased. luckily i had other vouchers in my bag, and still got my ten percent off.

they also refused to take more than one voucher of each kind. i've had this the last 3 times i've shopped at asda.

Yep asda took my wishvale ones last week.
But the lady at the check out was reading every voucher before she scaned it and made me feel like a porper..
But a few weeks ago in tesco the lady there was fab and told me that tesco will take one of each voucher for products you are not buying eg one shampoo voucher when you do not buy the product, but if you buy the product tesco will take 2 vouchers!
Does anybody have an asda/tesco email from headoffice regarding the voucher issue that they could put on the site so we can print off??

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for contacting us regarding our policy on the acceptance of
coupons.

Any coupons, which display the Tesco logo, are Tesco specific. We only
accept these if the products referred to on the coupons are purchased. This
is because we negotiate savings with our suppliers on the condition that
these actual products will be purchased.

With regard to coupons from brand name manufacturers, we are happy to accept
one, even if you have not purchased the product. However, the coupon must be
in date and Tesco must sell the item. If you present more than one identical
coupon, then you must purchase the same number of products.

There is no set limit on the amount of coupons you can use, but the
acceptance of a large number of coupons is at the discretion of the Store
Manager.

You won't have a problem finding the site if you pump "wishvalue coupons" into your search engine.

i had fun and games with wishvalue at the tesco superstore in peterborough seems everytime they have a change of manager he/she changes the stores policy on coupons and now it seems its wishvalue.. i will keep trying with different till operators but sometimes i just want to shop and get home and cant be bothered with the hassle
